Everything you need for a weekend in the Cotswolds.

Everything you need for a weekend in the Cotswolds.

GETTING THERE

GETTING THERE

From London Heathrow
We expect most guests traveling from the United States to arrive at London Heathrow. From Heathrow, guests can either rent a car or travel by train into the Cotswolds.

By Train
Take the Elizabeth line from Heathrow to London Paddington, then travel by Great Western Railway toward Moreton-in-Marsh. From Moreton-in-Marsh, arrange a taxi in advance to your hotel. Uber and other rideshare services should not be relied upon in the Cotswolds, so we strongly recommend asking your hotel to arrange transportation ahead of time.

We’ll add step-by-step train booking instructions and recommended departure times closer to the wedding.

By Car

Rental cars are available at Heathrow. Please only choose this option if you are comfortable driving on the left side of the road and navigating narrow country roads, roundabouts, and UK road rules.

WHERE TO STAY

WHERE TO STAY

Hyll Hotel

A limited number of guests will be staying with us at Hyll Hotel. Guests assigned accommodation at Hyll will be notified directly.

The Fish Hotel

For other guests, we plan to recommend The Fish Hotel as our primary nearby accommodation option. We expect to provide transportation between The Fish and Hyll on the wedding day and may also provide transportation for the welcome/rehearsal evening.

Additional hotel recommendations and booking details will be shared as plans are finalized.

GETTING AROUND

GETTING AROUND

Wedding Shuttles

We will provide more detailed transportation information, including any wedding shuttles, closer to the weekend.

Taxis & Local Transport

The Cotswolds are rural, and transportation works differently than it does in a major city. Uber and similar rideshare services may not be readily available.

If you are not renting a car, please arrange taxis in advance, particularly for airport/train transfers and evenings away from your hotel. Your hotel can help coordinate local transportation.

GOOD TO KNOW

GOOD TO KNOW

Passport + UK ETA

Guests traveling from the United States will need a valid passport and, under current UK entry rules, a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before traveling. Each traveler needs their own ETA, including children.

Money

We recommend bringing a credit card that does not charge foreign transaction fees.

Train Tickets

If traveling by rail, we recommend booking your train tickets in advance once your travel plans are confirmed.
